Founder of Sisters in Hands

I’m a Brazilian-born entrepreneur, single mother, and the founder of Sisters in Hands, a nonprofit rooted in my lived experience. I moved to the U.S. in 2006, and after becoming a solo mom in 2010, while grieving the loss of my father. I began rebuilding my life from scratch. With no family nearby, I worked tirelessly to create a stable and loving environment for my son, balancing motherhood with a demanding career in estate management.
In 2018, after facing depression, I began a profound journey of self-awareness. I found healing through therapy, studied quantum-based methodologies like ThetaHealing and Family Constellation, and became a certified facilitator. These tools didn’t just help me recover, they became the foundation of who I am and how I serve others today.

In 2022, life brought another storm: a personal health crisis and my son's emotional collapse. That painful season led me to create Sisters in Hands, a safe space for other solo mothers who need emotional and practical support. I understood more than ever that single moms don’t just need help, they need to be seen, heard, and supported holistically.
I believe self-awareness is the most important thing we can cultivate, it’s the anchor that helps us make conscious choices, face challenges with courage, and create lasting change. Through Sisters in Hands, I hope to uplift women navigating solo motherhood, offering them what I wish I had along the way: sisterhood, structure, and sacred space to breathe.
